Suzanne Music Craig
HS & MS Speech & Theatre
6th Grade Chorus
5th Grade Creative Dramatics
Hi! My name is Suzanne Music Craig. The students call me "Mama Craig." This is my 16th year here at Lipscomb, and I'm so happy to be a part of this exciting place! I've been teaching Music, Speech, or Theatre in Christian schools for 30 years, having taught at Greater Atlanta Christian School and Middle Tennessee Christian School, as well as having attended Lipscomb University for both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. Therefore, I know the value of Christian Education, where Biblical life concepts are taught, along with Academics, Fine Arts, and Physical Fitness. Christian Education focuses on the child as a whole, teaching students to be well-rounded, and therefore preparing them for the world around them. I love being able to pray with my students and watch them grow in the Lord, while encouraging them to take God's hand and soar on the wings of eagles!
Attached are the course descriptions and expectations for Speech, Theatre Arts, and 6th grade chorus. Please feel free to look over the curriculum your children will be studying while in my class, and know they are being prayed for everyday! Also, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments!
And Thank you for blessing us with your child!

Just a little information about who I am away from school...
I've been married 31 years to Richard Craig Jr., worship leader at West End Church of Christ, a free-lance drummer, and painter. I have three beautiful, adult children, and one son-in-law, all of which are talented actors and musicians. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, but have loved making the south my home for over 35 years!
This is a picture of my precious family when Chelsea and Cameron got married June 25, 2010. In the picture are my beautiful daughters, Rachel Craig and Chelsea Keaggy, and their handome brother, Jamin. Then, of course, there is my charming son-in-law, Cameron Keaggy, my handsome husband, Richard Craig Jr., along with his parents, Jan and Richard Craig Sr., and my wonderful folks, Paul and Lou Music. We are a very close knit family who all believe in the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Along with my faith in God, these precious people are the foundation of my life!
