Ginger Reasonover, Elementary School Science Lab Coordinator
I have worked at Lipscomb since 1998. My duties are split between the elementary school and Lipscomb University Biology Department. My unique position allows LAES to fully participate in the University Connections.
I have been married to Ronald Reasonover for 24 years. We have three college age boys who all attended Lipscomb K-12. One is a senior at the United States Military Academy (West Point), one is a senior at the University of Tampa as a ROTC Cadet and our youngest son is beginning his sophomore year at Pepperdine by spending a semester in Germany. I am a leader with Cub Scout Pack 21 that meets at Lipscomb Academy and spend my summers co-directing the BisonBot Robotics Camps. I love watching the proverbial light go on in a child's face when they "get" the science concept that we are studying. I believe it is important for children to be able to connect with the wonderful outdoor world through the study of science and that by understanding science, we can see God's handiwork in everything. I feel blessed to be able to talk about God and his creation openly with our students.
One of my favorite non-biblical quotes is by Benjamin Franklin and it says:
Benjamin Franklin - "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." I hope to help your students become fully involved in learning about science.
