Betsy Thomas
I am one of the rare people who actually grew up here in Nashville. I started attending Lispcomb in 3rd grade and love being there through high school. After beginning my college career at the University of Mississippi, I transferred to Lipscomb University to graduate with a degree in History-Communications. After graduation, I accepted a job at the University in the Admissions Office. While working there, I begin my Master's in Education degree. I began working in 2008 at Goodpasture Christian school in their high school social studies department. While there, I completed my M.Ed. I have been at Goodpasture for the last five years teachings class such as Government, Economics, U.S. History, Psychology, Sociology, and Girl's Bible. I also spent time as the head boys and girls cross country coach and the girls track coach. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Kiva (pictured abov), spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching the Red Sox play baseball, to name a few hobbies. I am so excited to get to share this year with your students.
