Señora Whitman
Sra. Beth Whitman is herself a Lipscomb alum having attended Lipscomb 3rd through 12th grades. She then decided to pursue her undergraduate study at Harding University where she received a degree in Spanish in May 2000.
Having studied Spanish all four years of high school, her love of the language grew in leaps and bounds. However, it was her repeated trips to the City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico that ignited a passion for missions and inspired her to pursue a career in Spanish Education. While at Harding University, she was also blessed with the opportunity to pursue her desire to travel and study abroad in the fall of 1998. Living in Athens, Greece for a semester allowed Sra. Whitman to visit several European and Asian cities and countries. Since that time, she has participated in several mission trips back to the City of Children in Mexico, and has both participated in and led educational tours to Europe, South America,Central America and Mexico where she has refined her conversation, translating, and interpreting skills.
Sra. Whitman is also an avid Disney enthusiast. Her love of all things Disney began 15 years ago when she visited Walt Disney World for the first time on her honeymoon. She has since visited not only Disney World whenever possible, but she has also made trips to Disneyland in California, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland. She is always happy to share her Disney knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen!
She currently teaches Intro to Foreign Languages and Intro to Spanish at Lipscomb Academy Middle School and Spanish III and Spanish IV at Lipscomb Academy High School. She has been married to Randy Whitman for 15 years, and together, they have 2 daughters, Abby & Ainsley who attend Lipscomb Academy Elementary School. Sra. Whitman is convinced that there is no better place for her and her family to be than in the Lipscomb community!

I know this journey will not always be easy for your student- but I am excited about partnering with you to help make the path a little smoother. I am here every morning before school at 7:15 to offer help. I keep RenWeb up-to-date with both grades and with the lesson plan topics for the week. This is a great resource for you and your student to know how he/she is doing in my class and to know what the upcoming assignments are. Please check RenWeb weekly as this will help everyone stay informed. You may also reach me through email or by phone. I am also available for conferences (either by phone or in person) during my planning period and before school.
